Recently Michael McNett Photography in conjunction with Giving Is Awesome and 483 other photographers world wide, held a huge give away, to give the gift of a family portrait to a family who wouldn’t normally be able to afford one or were living under circumstances where a family portrait would normally not be possible. The response was astounding but Susan L. stood out above the rest. 

Personally I have my hands full with my 2 kids so Susan a single mother of 9 kids has my complete admiration. Then when you consider that she is raising them living with Leukemia you can see why a family portrait would be so meaningful.

A little something special for someone special…

In partnership with Giving is Awesome and 437 photographers (as of today) Im trying to do a little extra this year. So far we are up to almost $500,000 in donations.

Here is how you can help -

Do you know someone. Do you know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. Do you know someone who will soon be over seas serving. Maybe someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.

You know someone. You have to, I guarantee it.

I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography – $500 worth, to be exact. The winner will receive a photo session along with all the digital files to fully decorate their home and be able to share with friends and family AND a printed 11×14 of one of the images. I always new that my daughter had secret super powers, but I am pleased to find out that selflessness is one of them. Her birthday is September 21st which happens to be the same day as the 5th annual Walk for Hope by the Angel 34 Foundation. IT benifits local children in Eastern PA battling Pediatric Cancer and thier families. And Nationally with the ICEE Program.
