BRIDES READ THIS: but only if you don’t want a toaster for a wedding gift.

I was chatting with a client the other day, who was super stoked about her photography. Her only problem was she didn’t want to have to pay for all the discs and albums that she wanted. Her ingenious idea was “Could I have a bridal registry for my photography?” I thought BRILLIANT!

True story | For my wedding I got a cheese knife that had a porcelain handle and a price tag of $85. No joke, I went out and bought some cheese, used the knife, and when it didn’t cut it, I promptly boxed it up to be re-gifted (which is probably how I got it in the first place). I know Im not alone. I hear all kinds of stories about crazy gifts people get for their wedding. So how about weighting things in your favor to get something that you really want or something you may have had plans to be getting anyways.

The photo registry is a win-win you get to upgrade your album, add pages to your album, get a canvas print or buy that disk that you couldn’t fit into the budget before, and your friends don’t have to drive across town, find that exact frying pan, drive back, wrap it and then carry it to the wedding. Heck they can go online, click a couple buttons and they are done.

Here is a tutorial about how my clients can set up their registry through my website. If you are not as tech savvy, just shoot me an email and I can set it up for you. *Bonus points* if you can tell me how many times I say the word “ummmm” in the video.
