I was up late last night working on this one with great trepidation. Why you may ask? There is nothing new about working late to try to get pictures ready? Well Kari + Jeff’s wedding was held at the Red Mill in Clinton New Jersey and as we were shooting Kari told me about how the mill was on the show Ghost Hunters and it had a lot of activity. Im not a superstitious person but I kept going through each picture thinking I may see something staring out at me in the background.
In all actuality the mood was anything but spooky. I first shot Kari and Jeff back in July (you can see their e-session here) and I was looking forward to this 09/09/09 wedding since it was on a Wednesday (great change of pace) the wedding is this weekend at Holly Hedge Estates a very fun location to get married and to shoot in, down in New Hope, PA. That is one of the reasons why this is up so fast (sorry to some of the others that this skipped) I’d love to try to have some sort of slideshow for the Bride and Groom for this weekend. Cross your fingers.
Also for those that ask me what a “First Look” is watch the video. We set up a special moment between the bride and groom to see each other for the first time. It is a bit more intimate and (arguably) just if not more meaningful than when you walk down the aisle. Read more here
Jeff and I had some time beforehand to explore the grounds a bit before Kelly arrived. we found a neat little school house and couldn’t resist taking this picture below, that didn’t make it into the slide show
